5. 8. 1. Current Sector
Clicking Current Sector, or CS, will show you and let you interact with what is in the sector your ship is sitting in, whether it is a port a planet or another ship. You will see a navigation box in the center of the screen. It shows you the connections to adjacent sectors and by clicking them you will move your ship to that sector and remain in the Current Sector view. If your ship is equipped with a scanner, you will be able to scan adjacent sectors before entering them. This is useful for avoiding mines and other ships.
